Since 2000, Yoga Gil has been practicing and developing respect for the healing benefits of yoga. Through his personal experiences and certifications, Gil utilizes his skills in the art and science of practicing yoga  to guide his clients toward a healthier mind, body and soul by teaching what he knows and loves most.  What he loves most about yoga is you always feel better after a practice than before.

Gil practices and teaches Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Guided Meditation in addition his certification in therapeutic yoga. He’s honored to receive the professional designation of  E-RYT 200, RYT 500 from the National Yoga Alliance as recognition of his teaching experience and knowledge of yoga.

Unlike yoga classes at the local gym and large studios, Gil has taken a different approach by focusing on small group classes and private personalized sessions.  Yoga can be a very personal experience for most people, making the small class environment and at-home sessions ideal. Clients are able to receive the most from their sessions due to the smaller class environment, which allows for more specialized attention. Gil walks around the room, checking  in with his students, adjusting postures, allowing them to have the best experience available. When working with a client, Gil takes a holistic approach. Understanding what is going on in their lives, evaluating eating habits, health and needs is essential to design a successful program to guide them toward their goals.

You don’t have to spend large amounts of money to enjoy the convenience of practicing yoga in your own home. With a few personalized sessions you will be given a program to practice effectively on your own.  Also, coming into the studio for one of Gil’s small group classes is a wonderful check in for your home practice or just to melt away the stresses of life as you absorb the energy of the class.

It is important to practice yoga in a comfortable and safe environment, as proper breathing and alignment is essential to healing and relaxation. Many people want to experience more advanced poses, but require professional attention to do so. With the undivided attention of your teacher you get the experience you are looking for, while preventing injuries.
